The Good News
You didn’t land on this page by accident. Maybe you were poking around or following a hidden link—but however you got here, I’m glad you did.
My name’s Vern, and I’ve lived a life full of second chances. I’ve faced cancer. I’ve been paralyzed. I’ve had health scares that landed me in the ICU, and I’ve walked through days when I wasn’t sure how things would turn out. I’ve lost work, had setbacks, and made plenty of mistakes. But through it all, one thing has never changed: God’s grace.
I didn’t grow up with all the answers, and I don’t claim to have them now—but I do know this: Jesus met me in my broken places. Not with guilt. Not with a list of rules. But with compassion and the kind of hope that gives a man peace in the middle of chaos.
Maybe you’re carrying something heavy. Maybe life has knocked you down a time or two. Or maybe you’re just curious what this whole “Good News” thing is all about.
The good news is this: You’re not alone. You’re not forgotten. You’re deeply loved by a God who knows your name and hasn’t given up on you.
If you've ever wondered what it really means to have faith—or how someone can truly be saved—this video lays it out plainly and powerfully. It’s not about religion or following a bunch of rules. It’s about a relationship with a God who loves you more than you can imagine. I highly recommend watching "How to be Saved"—a clear, heartfelt explanation of what salvation really means, and how you can receive it for yourself.
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Jesus (Matthew 11:28)
