Circle 6 Maildrop Customer Agreement
By signing up for and using the services provided by Circle 6 Maildrop ("we", "us", "our"), you ("you", "your", "Customer") agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement governs your use of our virtual mailbox and mail forwarding services and is required by the United States Postal Service (USPS) for all Commercial Mail Receiving Agencies (CMRAs).
1. CMRA Authorization & USPS Compliance
- You authorize Circle 6 Maildrop to receive mail on your behalf as a USPS-registered CMRA.
- You must submit a properly notarized USPS Form 1583 and two valid forms of identification before we may receive mail for you.
- Each individual or business receiving mail must have their own Form 1583 and ID on file.
- We will not accept mail for names or businesses not associated with your account.
2. Service Overview
- We provide you with a real Texas street address, not a PO Box.
- Optional features include mail scanning, forwarding, and shredding depending on your chosen plan.
- All service is virtual—there is no in-person pickup.
- We serve both U.S. and international customers.
3. Mail Handling Policies
- Mail is never opened unless you request a content scan via your dashboard.
- We do not retain scanned mail images after deletion or account closure.
- We accept packages under 30 lbs and hold them for up to 30 days. Storage fees apply after that.
- Prohibited items (e.g., hazardous materials, perishables, illegal items) are returned or destroyed immediately.
4. Forwarding & Scanning
- Mail forwarding is performed on demand or on a schedule you set in your dashboard.
- All forwarding and scanning services require a prepaid balance to cover associated costs.
- You are notified when eligible mail or packages arrive, depending on your plan.
- Scans of mail contents are billed per page.
5. Billing & Plan Terms
- All plans are billed annually and are non-refundable.
- You can upgrade at any time; downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
- You may cancel at any time via your dashboard.
- Upon cancellation, we will forward mail for up to six (6) months if your balance covers it, as required by USPS.
6. Address Use & Legal Limitations
- You may use your Circle 6 address for residency, registration, or business purposes if permitted by the relevant agency.
- We are not a registered agent and do not offer registered agent services.
- Use of the address for legal or government correspondence is permitted, but responsibility lies with the customer to confirm acceptance.
7. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining an accurate forwarding address and contact info in your dashboard.
- You must ensure your account is funded to avoid interruption in service.
- We are not responsible for items sent to unlisted recipients.
8. Limitation of Liability
- We are not responsible for loss, damage, or delay caused by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other carriers.
- We are not liable for delays due to natural disasters, technical failures, or other external events.
- Use insured or trackable shipping for time-sensitive or valuable items.
9. Termination of Service
- We may terminate your account at any time if you violate this agreement or postal regulations.
- Mail held at the time of termination may be returned, discarded, or forwarded depending on account status and available funds.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the applicable regulations of the United States Postal Service.
11. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Customer Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, or business practices. Any changes will be posted to this page and take effect 30 days after notice is sent.
We will provide you with email notification of any material changes at least 30 days before they become effective. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Customer Acknowledgement
By submitting USPS Form 1583 or using our services, you agree to be bound by this Customer Agreement in full. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
