Circle 6 Maildrop: Texas Virtual Mailbox FAQs
📬 General Service Questions
What is Circle 6 Maildrop?
Circle 6 Maildrop is a virtual mailbox and mail forwarding service designed
for
RVers, travelers, and anyone who needs a reliable Texas address. As a USPS-registered Commercial
Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), we’re authorized to receive mail on your behalf. Optional features
like envelope scanning, forwarding, and shredding let you manage your mail from anywhere—on your
terms and based on the plan you choose.
What is a Virtual Mailbox?
A virtual mailbox gives you a real street address where your mail and packages are received.
You can view your incoming mail online, request scans, forward items to any address, or
securely shred them—all from anywhere in the world.
Why choose a Texas mailing address?
Texas offers many benefits to RVers, travelers, and remote workers—including no state income
tax and traveler-friendly policies. With Circle 6 Maildrop, you get a real Texas address
(not a P.O. Box) to keep your life moving forward wherever you are.
Do I need to be a Texas resident to use Circle 6 Maildrop?
Nope! Whether you're crossing the country in an RV, working remotely from another state, or
living abroad, you can still use Circle 6 Maildrop. Anyone can enjoy the perks of a real
Texas address—no state residency needed.
How do I get started?
It’s simple. Select a plan,
upload a USPS Form 1583 and ID documents, and you're all set! We’ll get your new Texas address set up
and ready to receive mail.
How secure is my information?
We take your privacy seriously. As a USPS-registered CMRA, we follow strict
guidelines to protect your personal data and mail. All account and scan data is stored on
secure, encrypted servers. Access to scanned images is restricted to authorized staff, and
contents are
only opened or scanned when you request it. We never share your information—ever.
Can more than one person receive mail under my account?
Yes. Each individual or business receiving mail must submit their own USPS
Form
1583 and ID. Your account includes support for up to two individuals and one business name.
Additional recipients can be added for a small monthly fee.
Can I receive business mail at my Circle 6 address?
Absolutely. Your account includes support for one business name and up to
two
individuals. We accept business mail—including IRS letters, state notices, certified mail, and
legal
documents—as well as packages from USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Each business must submit its own USPS
Form
1583 and proper ID. If you need to register more than one business or receive mail for
additional
individuals, we offer that for a small monthly fee.
Do I need to fill out USPS Form 1583?
Yes. USPS requires Form 1583 for us to legally receive mail on your behalf
as a
Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA). This form must be notarized and submitted along with
two
forms of ID. After you sign up and choose a plan, you'll receive a secure link to upload the
completed form and documents directly to our system.
Is this service legal and USPS-approved?
Yes. We’re a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), registered with USPS
and
fully authorized to receive and handle your mail.
What happens if I move or change plans?
Your address stays the same no matter where you go—perfect for full-time
RVers,
digital nomads, or anyone on the move. If your location changes, just log in to your dashboard
to
update your forwarding address and we’ll send your mail wherever you are.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Although our service is billed annually, you can cancel at any time
from your dashboard.
What happens to my mail after cancellation?
Once canceled, we’re required by USPS to forward your mail for up to six
additional months—provided you maintain a sufficient balance in your postage and handling
account.
During this time, we forward all incoming mail once per week, including anything that may be
considered junk. Please note: canceled accounts do not include mail sorting, scanning, or
dashboard
access—just basic forwarding. After the six-month period ends, any new mail will be returned to
sender. Be sure to update your address with contacts before that time.
What types of mail won’t you accept?
We don’t accept hazardous materials, items requiring refrigeration, live
animals, or anything illegal or restricted by carriers or postal regulations. Any prohibited
items—especially perishables or live contents—will be returned to sender immediately. If you’re
unsure whether something is allowed, feel free to ask us before shipping.
What if I need help with my account?
We’re here to help. If you have any questions or run into an issue, just
send us
an email at support@circle6maildrop.com. We’ll respond as quickly as possible—no long waits, no
runaround.
Do you offer phone support?
We primarily handle support by email to keep things efficient and
documented.
But if something’s urgent, we’re happy to schedule a call.
✉️ Mail Handling & Scanning
Will I be notified when I get mail?
If your plan includes mail scanning, we’ll send you an email alert whenever
First Class mail arrives, along with a scan of the envelope front. You can then log in to your
dashboard to decide what to do next—forward it, request a scan of the contents, or have it
securely
shredded. Customers without a scanning plan can still request forwarding as needed.
How long does it take to see scanned mail?
If your plan includes scanning, we typically upload the front of each First
Class envelope the same business day it arrives. You'll get an email alert right away. If you
request a scan of the contents, that usually takes one additional business day to complete.
Can you scan the contents of my mail?
Yes—if your plan includes scanning, you can request a scan of the mail’s
contents after reviewing the envelope image. We’ll securely open the envelope, scan the inside
pages, and upload the file to your dashboard, usually within one business day.
Do you scan magazines or catalogs?
No, we don’t scan full magazines or catalogs due to their size, volume, and
potential copyright restrictions. If you’d like to receive them, we recommend requesting
forwarding.
Is there a limit to how many scans I can request?
Your plan determines how many First Class envelopes we’ll scan and notify
you
about each month. There’s no limit to how many content scans you can request—those are billed
separately at $0.50 per page. You stay in control of what gets scanned and when.
Do you ever open my mail without permission?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!—we never open your mail unless you specifically request a
content scan. As a USPS-registered Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), we’re legally
authorized
to receive mail on your behalf, but not to open it without your direction. Your privacy is
protected
not just by our internal policy, but by federal postal regulations.
What happens to junk mail or unwanted items?
If your plan includes our junk mail filter service, we’ll filter out obvious
junk—like presorted ads, bulk solicitations, and credit card offers—and discard those items
without
scanning or forwarding. This helps reduce clutter and unnecessary forwarding costs. All other
mail
is held for your review, and you decide what to scan, forward, or shred. You’re always in
control of
your important mail.
What happens if my mail is lost or damaged?
While we do our best to handle all mail with care, Circle 6 Maildrop is not liable for mail lost
or
damaged by the postal service or by carriers such as UPS or FedEx. If you're expecting something
valuable or time-sensitive, we recommend using a tracked or insured shipping method.
Can I receive prescription medication by mail?
Yes—we can receive mail-order prescriptions as long as they’re shipped by a licensed U.S.
pharmacy,
clearly labeled, and do not require refrigeration. If you’re expecting medication, we recommend
requesting forwarding promptly to avoid delays or accidental discard.
What happens if someone sends mail to the wrong name or address?
We can only receive and process mail for names and businesses that are listed and approved on
your
account with a valid Form 1583. Misaddressed mail or items for unknown recipients may be
returned to
sender or securely discarded.
Do you keep copies of scanned mail?
No. We do not retain scanned images after they’ve been delivered to your dashboard. Once you
delete
a scan or your account is closed, those files are permanently removed from our system.
Do you handle mail for minors or dependents?
We can receive and handle mail for minors or dependents, but the parent or legal guardian must
provide documentation of guardianship and fill out a Form 1583 for each individual receiving
mail.
We’ll handle the mail according to the same procedures as for adults, ensuring privacy and
control
for the parent or guardian.
Can I use this service for receiving government mail?
Yes, Circle 6 Maildrop can receive government mail, including IRS notices, Social Security
communications, and other government documents. However, it’s your responsibility to check with
specific government agencies to ensure they accept a CMRA address for their purposes.
📦 Forwarding & Packages
Can I have my mail forwarded to me?
Yes—all Circle 6 Maildrop customers can request mail forwarding at any time.
Just log in to your dashboard, enter the address you want it sent to, and we’ll take care of the
rest. We forward mail as often as you request—whether that’s once a week, once a month, on a
schedule you set, or on demand. Postage and handling fees are deducted from your prepaid account
balance at the time of each shipment.
How do I pay for mail forwarding?
Mail forwarding and content scanning fees are deducted from your prepaid
account
balance. You can add funds at any time through your dashboard using a credit or debit
card—initial
balances start at $50. We’ll notify you by email when your balance gets low, and you can view
your
full balance history anytime in your dashboard. It’s your responsibility to keep your account
funded; if your balance falls to zero, we won’t be able to forward mail or perform content scans
until additional funds are added.
What happens if I don’t have enough funds for forwarding?
If your account balance isn’t sufficient to cover postage and handling,
we’ll
hold your mail and notify you by email. You can add funds anytime through your dashboard to
resume
forwarding or content scanning. Most mail is held for up to 30 days—after that, it will be
securely
shredded. Packages are not stored and will be returned to sender immediately. In some cases,
important items like government documents or checks may be held longer at our discretion to
avoid
accidental loss.
How often do you forward mail?
We forward mail whenever you request it. Some folks do it weekly, others
monthly—it’s totally up to you. You control the schedule.
Can I choose which carrier you use for forwarding?
Yes. We use USPS by default for all forwarding, but you can request UPS or
FedEx
if you prefer. Please note that at this time, neither carrier picks up from our location, so we
charge a $25 service fee to personally transport your package to the nearest drop-off location.
This
is in addition to standard postage and handling costs, which are deducted from your prepaid
balance.
We are actively working with both carriers to establish regular pickup service at our address.
Can packages be sent to my Circle 6 address?
Yes. We accept packages from USPS, UPS, and FedEx, as long as they’re
clearly
labeled and meet our size and weight guidelines. We do not accept packages over 30 pounds—those
are
returned to sender immediately. Packages are stored for up to 30 days at no charge. After that,
a
$10 monthly storage fee applies per package, for up to 3 additional months. Unclaimed packages
beyond that window will be discarded.
Can you forward packages along with my regular mail?
Yes—when you request forwarding, we’ll include any packages that have
arrived
and ship them together with your regular mail, unless you specify otherwise. We only forward
packages upon request and if your prepaid balance can cover the cost. Packages are stored for up
to
30 days at no charge. After that, a $10 per-package, per-month storage fee applies for up to 3
additional months. Any package left longer than that will be discarded. We do not accept or
store
any package over 30 pounds—those are returned to sender immediately upon arrival.
Do you notify me when packages arrive?
Yes. When a package that meets our acceptance criteria arrives (under 30 lbs
and
properly labeled), we’ll send you an email notification so you know it’s here. You’ll also see
it
listed in your dashboard. Packages that exceed our size or weight limits are returned
immediately
and will not generate a notification.
Can I get a tracking number for forwarded mail?
Absolutely. You’ll receive tracking info for any forwarded packages or
letters
as soon as it ships out.
Do you offer storage for my mail?
Yes—but we are not a long-term storage service. We hold all mail—letters,
flats,
and packages—for up to 30 days. After that, regular mail is discarded unless you’ve contacted us
in
advance to make other arrangements. Packages may be stored for up to 3 additional months at a
rate
of $10 per package, per month. Any mail or packages left beyond those limits will be discarded.
Do I need a forwarding request every time, or can I set a schedule?
All forwarding—whether on-demand or on a schedule—is arranged by you
directly
through your dashboard. You can request mail forwarding whenever you like, or set up a recurring
schedule that works for you. Forwarding only takes place when your prepaid account has
sufficient
funds to cover postage and handling.
Do I need to notify you before someone sends me packages or mail?
No notification is needed for standard letters or packages under 30
pounds—your
senders can simply use your assigned address. If you're expecting something oversized, unusually
valuable, or time-sensitive, it’s helpful to let us know in advance. We do not accept packages
over
30 pounds; those are returned to sender immediately upon arrival.
Do you forward internationally?
Yes—we can forward mail and packages to most international destinations. Rates and delivery
times
vary depending on the country, and all postage and handling costs must be covered by your
prepaid
balance. Please note that customs delays, import taxes, and local delivery issues are outside
our
control.
🌎 Residency, Legal & Address Use
Can I use this address to establish residency in Texas?
Many of our customers use their Circle 6 address as part of establishing
residency in Texas. While we can’t offer legal or tax advice, your assigned address is a real
physical street address—not a PO Box—and is located right here in Texas. It’s commonly used for
vehicle registration, insurance, and other residency-related purposes.
Why do people choose a Texas mailing address?
While we don't provide legal or tax advice, many full-time RVers, travelers,
and remote workers appreciate having a Texas mailing address. Texas is known for its no state
income
tax and traveler-friendly policies, making it a popular choice for those who want a reliable
home base.
Circle 6 Maildrop provides a real Texas address—not a P.O. box—helping you stay connected
wherever your
journey takes you.
Can I register my vehicle or get a driver’s license using this address?
Yes—many of our customers have successfully used their Circle 6 address
to
register vehicles and obtain a Texas driver’s license. Since it’s a real street address in
Texas
(not a PO Box), it’s commonly accepted for residency documentation. That said, requirements
can
vary
by county, so we always recommend checking with the Texas DMV or your local tax office to
confirm.
Can I use this address for voter registration?
Your Circle 6 address is located in Falls County, Texas. Many customers
have
successfully used it for voter registration, but it’s important to understand that voter
registration is county-specific. If you intend to use this address to register to vote, you
would be
registering in Falls County. We recommend checking with the Falls County election office to
ensure
it meets your needs.
Is this address a PO Box?
No—it’s a real physical street address in Falls County, Texas, not a PO
Box.
It
includes a unique PMB (Private Mailbox) number and is suitable for many uses where a PO Box
might
not be accepted. It’s a great option for full-time RVers, remote workers, or anyone who
needs a
legit street address. If you're planning to use the address for something specific, we
recommend
checking with the agency or institution involved to confirm it meets their requirements.
Will my mail say “Suite” or “Box”?
Your address will include a PMB (Private Mailbox) number, formatted in
compliance with USPS guidelines. It won’t say “P.O. Box,” but depending on how your sender
formats
the address, it may show as “PMB,” “Unit,” or sometimes “#.” This format helps ensure wide
acceptance while keeping everything compliant with postal regulations.
Can I pick up my mail in person?
Nope—we’re a virtual service only. All handling is digital or forwarded.
Our
focus is fast, secure mail management wherever you are—not walk-ins.
Can I use this address for my business?
Yes—many small business owners use their Circle 6 address for business correspondence. Just
be
aware
that this is a shared mail facility, not a storefront or physical office. If you plan to
list it
publicly (such as on Google Business or state filings), you must follow all relevant
regulations. We
recommend checking with those agencies first to confirm acceptance.
Can I add or remove names on my account later?
Yes—you can add or remove individuals or business names from your account at any time.
However,
each
new individual must submit a completed USPS Form 1583 and valid ID before we can begin
receiving
mail for them. Your account includes support for up to two individuals and one business
name.
Additional names or businesses can be added for a small monthly fee.
Can I use this address for legal documents?
Yes. As long as the legal documents are sent by USPS, FedEx, or UPS, we can receive them.
However,
keep in mind that legal documents are typically subject to specific rules and regulations,
so we
recommend checking with the sender to ensure they are using the right method for sending
important
documents to a CMRA address.
Will Circle 6 Maildrop act as a registered agent on my behalf?
No, Circle 6 Maildrop does not provide registered agent services. While we offer a real
physical
street address for mail forwarding and scanning, we are not registered with the state of
Texas
to
act as a legal registered agent for businesses. For registered agent services, you will need
to
engage a separate service specifically designated for that role.
🧾 Billing, Plans & Account Settings
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time, and the change will take
effect
immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date. You can manage plan changes
anytime
through your dashboard based on what fits your needs.
What if I’m only traveling for a short time?
You’re welcome to use Circle 6 Maildrop even for temporary situations
like
travel, relocation, or transition periods. Just keep in mind that our service is billed
annually, so
you'll be prepaying for a full year up front. If you decide to cancel early, we’ll still
forward
your mail for up to six months after cancellation, as required by USPS, provided you
maintain a
balance in your account.
How much mail can I receive?
There’s no hard limit on how much mail you can receive, but our service
is
intended for personal or small business use—not for bulk mailers or fulfillment operations.
If
your
volume gets unusually high, we may reach out to discuss next steps. For accounts with
scanning
enabled, we’ll scan the front of up to 50 pieces of First Class mail per billing cycle at no
additional charge. After that, each additional envelope scan is $0.50.
Can I receive checks and deposit them?
You can absolutely receive checks at your Circle 6 address. While we
don’t
deposit checks on your behalf, many customers request a content scan and then use their
bank’s
mobile deposit app to complete the deposit themselves. You can also request that the
physical
check
be forwarded to you at any time.
Can I get a refund if I cancel early?
No. All Circle 6 Maildrop plans are billed annually and are non-refundable. You may cancel
at
any
time, and we’ll continue forwarding your mail for up to six months after cancellation, as
required
by USPS, provided you maintain a postage balance.
🌐 Notifications & Accessibility
Can I get notified via text instead of email?
Right now we use email notifications, but we’re exploring SMS options.
Stay
tuned—or shoot us a message if that’s something you’d love to see.
What if I’m off-grid or without internet for a while?
No problem. If you’re offline for a bit, your mail will wait safely in
your
account until you log back in. Nothing gets scanned, forwarded, or discarded unless you
request
it—so you won’t miss anything while you’re out of range. If you expect to be unreachable for
more
than 30 days, please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements to hold your mail
longer
than our standard policy.
🛒 Online Shopping & Special Situations
Can I use my address for online shopping?
Yes—many of our customers use their Circle 6 address for online
shopping. We
accept packages from USPS, UPS, and FedEx, as long as they’re properly labeled and under our
30-pound weight limit. Just keep in mind that packages are only stored for 30 days, and
anything
over the weight limit is returned to sender immediately.
Do you accept legal documents or certified mail?
Yes. We accept certified mail, legal documents, and other accountable
items
such
as registered or insured mail. As a USPS-registered Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA),
we’re
authorized to sign for these items on your behalf—provided we have a completed Form 1583 and
valid
ID on file for you. You’ll be notified by email when any such item arrives.
Can I receive international mail and packages?
Yes—we accept international mail and packages delivered by USPS, UPS, or
FedEx,
as long as they comply with U.S. import regulations and fall within our standard size and
weight
limits. Keep in mind that customs delays are outside our control, and packages over 30
pounds
will
be refused and returned to sender immediately.
What if I’m not an RVer?
That’s totally fine—Circle 6 Maildrop isn’t just for full-time RVers. We
also
serve remote workers, digital nomads, expats, snowbirds, small business owners, and anyone
who
needs
a reliable Texas mailing address they can manage from anywhere.
What’s the difference between Circle 6 Maildrop and a PO Box?
Unlike a traditional PO Box, Circle 6 Maildrop gives you a real street
address in Falls County, Texas—not just a box number at a post office. That means you can
receive
packages from any major carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx), not just USPS. You also get access to
optional
features like envelope scanning, mail forwarding, content scanning, and junk mail filtering—none
of
which are available with a standard PO Box.
Can I use this address for short-term needs?
Yes—many people use Circle 6 Maildrop during moves, travel, or other
temporary situations. Just keep in mind that our plans are billed annually, so you’ll be paying
for a
full year of service up front. Even if you only need the address for a few months, you’ll still
have access to all features and support for the full term—and we’ll continue forwarding your
mail
for up to six months after cancellation, as required by USPS, provided your account balance is
funded.
